Algebra.
December 12, 2007
Algebra has always been hard for me. I am currently in my second year of Algebra I. I am confidant that I will never need to use 90% of the things we are learning in my life. Many people argue this and say this is not so. Algebra is a pointless thing to be learning. My current grade is a 79, a C, and having a teacher who speaks little if any English helps. We have a test tomorrow on factoring polynomials. I do not understand how to factor a polynomial. I do not even know what factoring a polynomial consists of, what it means, or how to do factor it. All you mathematicians out there on wordpress, HELP!
My First Confrontations With Drugs.
December 11, 2007
In my first 10 weeks of high school I have seen at least 20 kids smoking weed throughout and around school. No administrator or security guard seems to care. I myself have never done drugs, nor do I plan to. The first time I was offered a “hit” at school, it was during a mile run in PE. When the words, “You wanna hit” came out of that girls mouth , on the inside I freaked. I felt like it was a life or death question, I did what i thought was best and replied, “No…I’m doing well on my run.” Every since that day, I have seen people blazing in school, around school, and even in front of the lazy security guard who just drives in a little go cart all day. Those people are oblivious to the world, they sit there smoking this magical plant that fucking destroys your brain and body. Today these two girls decided to smoke during PE, it happened to be those same two girls who were doing it during the run, but this time out of a pen cap, how clever. My question to the world is why do you do it? It is a drug, it toys with your mind, it wants you to be addicted, despite your best efforts, your addicted. For some my day sounds like fun, but to me it’s just another day in which school… is boring.
The Freshman Year.
December 10, 2007
Welcome to my blog. I am going to remain anonymous to everyone outside my family. I will say that I go to an LAUSD high school. I am a freshman, it sucks! Throughout middle school I was always told you cannot make mistakes in high school, and that high school is much harder than middle school. My response to that, bullshit. High school is easier for me and you can get away with anything. Their are different problems that come with high school though, you have to deal with all the future douche bags of America, the preps, the potheads, they are all there. It will be fun blogging on a sight that lets you say what you want, can’t do that in school!
Hello world!
